My boyfriend and I plan on going to Australia on a working holiday visa in a year or so. We have read a lot about it, and the requirements etc. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips, or experience doing this themselves. Is it difficult? Does it take a long time? I am aware you need $5,000 AUD minimum per person in order to go, and that is why we are looking at next January to go, so we can save up. We would like to apply for a second year, and you need a minimum of three months working in agricultural/farming type jobs?
Any advice or tips or anything would be great!
Thanks

I’m not sure yet if i will go just for a holiday or to live and work so i need some more info to help me to decide. I have heard you need to have at least 3000 (dollars/euro..not sure????) in your bank account to get into the country…is this for a holiday visa or working visa? Also, how long does a holiday visa permit you to stay there for?
